Hi There =) ! Thank you for the wonderful wonderful comments and favs and likes on my renders. Miho had been too busy with work,. She was getting fed up of sitting behind the desk. Finally she decided to go a field trip. She called me up to tell me about her plan. I told her to finish up at work and meet me later in the afternoon while I will go and get things organized for the trip. She was right of time and we too off. The flight in her hyper plane was short one. This jungle was diminishing in size as it was being cut down from all sides. Miho wanted to document the bio diversity in it to see if there was enough of it left to save it. If not she would try to figure out how to save the animals and birds and insects that were left and move them to a safer place. While walking around and exploring the jungle we came to a small clearing and decided to take a break. Suddenly we saw a wolf come towards us. It went straight to Miho and sat down besides her. Miho just lit up with a big smile. She has just made another friend and I was in awe as usual seeing the bond her had with animals. I quickly grabbed my camera and took some snaps. And with Miho's ability to talk to animals, she asked the wolf if he could show her and me around the jungle. The wolf said yes and got up and we followed it deeper into the jungle...... About this render: I was laughing reading DarkPhoria's comment on my last render about how come Miho had cloths on :) haha.... Though Miho is very free spirited and likes to be out of cloths more often than in them but she also knows the affect she has on people around her ;). Like RichardPhoto had mentioned about the guy going to meet a post head on, she had many such incidents around her with people walking into walls, closed doors, lamp post / sign posts, tripping over, etc while they were looking at her... So she had no choice but have cloths on around other people to protect them from themselves :) haha .... As to why in the jungle she is wearing cloths with no one but me around ? Well, we just got here a short while ago... so you never know the cloths may come off soon :p... I had been chatting with iborg 64 about the warthog and how to get it with the hair in Vue. That got me thinking about the LAMH plugin that I had bought but had stopped using more than a year or two back because it used to crash a lot. He mentioned there was a new plugin version so I downloaded it and decided to give it to try. It is definitely more stable now and has fiber hair support and that is what I am using on the Wolf and it rendered well in the Octane Plugin. I did tweak the materials on the wolf though. Added a specular node on the hair. I tried to convert the hair into a conforming wearable item and did manage to do so but it was pretty much unusable as the moment you reposed the wolf a lot of the hair strands would distort. So to make the hair follow the pose properly without distortion, the best practice I guess is to pose first and then export / import the fiber hair via the LAMH plugin. The pain point is that every little pose adjustments will need you to re-export / import the fiber hair. Though it was pretty fast on my rig. Around 2 minutes with close to 600,000 hair strands in total. Anyway this was my first experiment with LAMH enabled animal and I went ahead a bought almost every one of them at DAZ because of a good discount. So except to see lot more furry animals with Miho :)... For this scene I just loaded some of the forest props I had and to fill the gaps between the tree I put a forest billboard prop I had That nicely filled up the background with green trees. For the ground I am using the displacement based material. Added some grass and lastly I changed the T-shirt and shoes colors to match them and also changed the color of her shorts.
