Splendid scene ! Looking at the iray render of the LAMH fur and the Octane, I feel Octane is doing a better job at rendering the fur. There is a lot more definition in the hair in Octane or maybe it is the material. Have you tried adding a specular node to the fur in Iray ? You may want to try that.
