Description

Twenty-six miles across the sea Santa Catalina is a-waitin' for me, Santa Catalina, the island of romance, romance, romance, romance. ~ The Four Preps https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XeS_lJAANC4 The ballroom had a lovely view of Santa Catalina Island. Would you think I was mean if I said I imagined a beautiful line of wind turbines in front of Donald’s property?

I think an oil rig close to the shore would really enhance the view.

well now, with this, we return to your sweeping landscapes, and it's a beauty. I totally forgot that it was connected to Trump. Another of your keen eyed landscapes, with strong sweeping lines and motion, and great light in one spot or another---here, in the massive spill of sun from the clouds, causing almost a 'spray' back there. And the road or walkway lit up like silver. Really beautiful image, Mark. Really striking work. Yes, I'd love to see wind turbines on his property. I'd love to see them next to him, blowing his hair and keeping him from talking. I have to move on so I can get to everyone before the next day or two, but I think I did 5 here, and I want to do the whole rest of this series. (I love mariachi, and those photos got the spirit. Have you ever seen such a big guitar? Those bass guitars are huuuuge.) I'll be back. I hope you have a wonderful New Year, Mark, and are having a peaceful and loving holiday now. May the gods of inspiration give back some of what you give to us all the time; you deserve it. Have a wonderful 2017!

The large guitar is called a Guitarrón. Also affectionately known as "El Gordo" which means "the fat man".

What a wonderful land & seascape view, out of reach for most of us mere mortals, unfortunately - those god rays above are a superb vision, how serene and peaceful... very Zen ! I can't blame Mr.D.T. for choosing such a majestic view and make it his own, I would too, if I had his $$$... great taste and great vision, good on him !

[I cannot believe, some of those weird comments left ? not my SOH, politics just don't belong here ! it's a cheap shot, pardon the pun Mark ! Instead of taken in the splendour of this brilliant photo... very impressive, one of your best, perfect POV.
