Hello! My name is Teri and I've been around for over 69 years in various forms. I am happily married (51 years!), have two daughters and four grandchildren.
I discovered Poser 2 many years ago but didn't do much with it. In 2006 I found a copy of Poser 4 and got interested again. I was working in Poser 10 before I switched to Daz Studio in late 2017. I'm gradually getting the hang of most of it.
When not playing on the computer, I help my husband with his start-up Bio Tech business, refinish furniture, knit, crochet, and read. We grab our grandchildren every chance we get and delight in their antics.
Discovering this community has been a great source of fun and support in trying times.I am amazed at the level of talent I see in both the gallery and the products that are offered. It baffles me how little points on a screen can turn into people or trees and move. I'll always be blond I guess!
Thanks for looking.

No apologies necessary - she certainly does look like trouble. Just to cheer you up - the temperature is -4 with an expected wind chill of -11. Now aren't you glad you left the north country!

The large window behind the sorceress and the brooding sky outside really add to the image. I want to imagine that if I release a mouse into the place she'll freak out and there'll suddenly be a lot of broken glass all over the shop. :P
Sorry to hear you hadn't been well. Hope you've recovered by now. Take care!

Excellent and happy New Year.

Beautiful character and the glass work is fabulous. Lovely lighting brings it all together.

Re your cold, and your sinus infection(s), I've had sinus infections, and there aren't too many infections that feel worse. I know how it makes one feel like some huge metal cavern took up residence in your face, and it just sits there and you can't do a thing about it. It can get so intense, you think your face will explode. You want to unscrew your nose and cheeks and send them back to Apple (or Microsoft) for repair. (Or maybe to a car shop.) I sympathize; and sorry you had to live with that during the holiday season. At least nose and cough problems can be worked out. Sinus stuff just 'sits' there, all enclosed.
Love the angle of this image, and the candles on the floor. And her warning gesture in front of that star. The light seems to come from her left and above, and the rest is very dark. I know nothing about 3D, so I have no idea how light is created, moved, etc; but I really like how you highlighted her in the center of this dark sinister environment. I'm back for but a few images per gallery, this week; I'll be back for more after the 1st. But it's been a while since I've commented in your gallery, so I'll try to do a few more before I leave tonight. I do see everything, regardless; and though I know you consider your art kind of put-together (if I read your past messages to me correctly), trust me you do more than that. I say that as an artist for over 60 years, and ditto a musician and writer; and I've lived with, worked with, taught and learned from artists all my life, and almost married two (one, my college girlfriend---we broke up---and another, a woman who passed too young): You have more artistry than I think you realize. And if it sounds like I'm seeing things "into" your work, trust me when I say I'm not. Artists do things they're often not aware of. You have a real artist's eye, and it shows over and over again in your work. The software can only do so much; you have to make so many choices, and you do, whether you're aware of them all or not. I won't dwell on that, but I wanted to say it, because it's true. You're an artist. Ok, onto the next one...
