Description
What would a wedding be without a party? After we left the Trump property we gathered at Café Sanchez which is a West Los Angeles institution. We were serenaded by a wonderful Mariachi band. You should really have the experience at least once.

Great capture, Mark! When I was six and we traveled to see my grandmother who lived in Sonsonate, we sang Mexican songs much of the way. They were good times!

I love mariachi bands; I've seen many in my travels to Mexico; you can't just stand still and listen. Your toes tap, your body moves and next thing you know, you're dancin in the streets!!

A few of your fans said they've seen these bands in Mexico; I've only seen them in the streets of Chicago. (And thank you for identifying the bass guitar: the guitarrón---I'd love to hold one.) You got the whole club lighting and feeling, and the reddish yellow light, and the detail of those great outfits, and the glow of the horns, and of course that beast guitarrón. Wonderful interior shot of a band having a great time. Love that you ended this series with these, these are real joyous club shots. I love the style of music too.
(In my performing-in-seedy-club days, we mostly wore suits and ties. But every so often, a gig would demand that you dress according to the affair: So we'd have to get these outfits---marching band outfits, military, sometimes clown outfits ((for real)) and so on. It could be agonizing. I can imagine putting on these outfits---the Mariachi's: With the tight vests and those wild belts, and the bowties---those are big m.f-ing bowties---and those pants and embroidery? That's a freakin' outfit, dude! Puts you in the mood from the get-go...)
