Description
Apricot azalea from a visit we made in the spring to a beautiful garden high on a cliff on the Oregon Coast. I thought you would enjoy the painterly postwork. :) It was quite sharp and clear before I fiddled with it!

This is gorgeous and I am so glad I stopped in for a quick look. I did not realize it was Helle's birthday and I so love her work too. I have just not been taking the time for RR hardly at all these days, but I do think of you all and sometimes allow myself a quick peek at your work. You are so creative. I need to search for something creative to post for Helle as well, but it will be older because my creativity is on hold right now while I focus more and more on learning Dutch. I have been in the Netherlands closing in on 5 years now and I am still not fluent. So I must work harder on it. My old brain is just so slow. In any case....HAPPY BIRTHDAY, HELLE (GEFELICITEERD MET JOUW VERJAARDAG!) and also what Tara wrote in Danish. :)

Spring colors are the best gift for Helle, i am sure. And looking well your image, i can ''see'' the transition of the seasons. I find a very fine execution and love the concept Tara:) Happy Birthday Helle and YES!!!! i wish also that all your dreams come true! It is very well deserved.

Beautiful treatment, Tara: You turned these into an oil painting, with droplets of rich hues and deep caverns of oranges and reds. The background below the blooms is like a big vat of bubbling syrup, somehow appropriate for the holiday. The palette is rich yellows and reds and oranges and some crimsons. And it's very holiday-like, very rich, and perfect for Helle's heart and her place in our lives. It's been a while since we've seen your flower treatments; and, seeing this now, they've been sorely missed. Beautiful work, and perfect for the wonderful Helle, who's like a flower to us all. (I did something privately.) Happy birthday Helle! And beautiful art, Tara. Sumptuous postwork.
