There, out of the water rose a boiling mist. It swirled like smoke and cast an eerie green light. Gensai knew that her moment had finally come. The Spirit of the Waters stretched out its long fingers and pointed to the south. "So, that was it," thought Gensai. Without hesitation, but certainly some trepidation, she stood from the edge of the waters, the Spirit already fading back into the mist, and strode forth to meet whatever fate lay ahead. - Another render of Gensai. The Spirit character is a copy of Gensai, but with different drapery and using IDG Iray FX shaders as surfaces on all materials. The render does exhibit some noise. I find this to be common in renders with a lot of smoke and fog. Nevertheless, it's not terribly distracting on this image. Thanks for checking her out!
