Description

Hello Friends. I have been away too long. 2016 was just not very kind to me! My intention is to return in full force now. I'm missing all my friends and the inspiration you give me with your lovely images. I have been to London to visit my son and daughter-in-law for 10 days over Christmas so my pics will be mostly of London and surroundings. This first one is a close-up of the dome of St Paul's Cathedral in London City.

Welcome back! 2016 has been a bad year for many. Hoping for all the better with 2017! This is a magnificent photo illustrating the fantastic architecture bearing up the huge dome. Very rare to see St. Paul's from this angle. I sure look forward to more St. Paul's photos, and London photos. I never tire of such. Keep up the good work! :-)

WB sweets...Hope you have a better 2017, I have dug out the OOB tut, just waiting for your mail. I sent you my new primary :) I shot this death from the 70, 80, 90, and millennium, mostly at night though. Nicely done Carin, and we call it the City of London, not London city, that is reserved for the airport darling :)

So there really is a Carin! I kept telling people but some of them didn't believe me. I hope you had a wonderful holiday with your family. I agree with T. Rex, this is a great POV. Without the cross it is very reminiscent of our capitol in Washington, D.C.

Wonderful POV, detail and mood in this cool capture of the venerable St. Paul's cathedral, Carin. Welcome back, and I bet the last half of my 2016 was worse then yours, at least physically.

It's good to see you posting again Carin, and what a comeback ! WOW

The majestic looking icon St. Paul's here is breathtaking - but in particular, I love the way you cropped it so perfectly... [unfortunately one cannot always pick the English weather to match it.]

BTW - I have seen similar visions of Cathedrals in Dresden, Germany, when I visited it in 2014 !
