Description

This is actually a side view of St Paul's Cathedral in The City of London. (thanks Ronnie for setting me straight) I like the two token red London buses! We were on the walkway walking towards the Millennium Bridge.

This is the more common view of St. Paul's. More space so more of the building can be caught by the camera. It shows a lot more of the grand size of the church. Interesting architectural style - romanesque yet late 1600s, no gothic influences at all. Thanks for posting! Keep up the good work! :-)

Great view of the old cathedral captured in this pic, Carin. Everything looks so dour, definitely sepia, because of the overcast, but one can't beat that old architecture under any conditions. Glad you had a good visit. And I believe sossy lives in Norway. In any event, Rule Britannia.

The buses do remove any doubt that this might be London. A beautiful shot of this very elegant building. So much more visual interest than the stuff we throw up now days.
