A fun, gothic glam artwork of the little heartbreaker character named Hailee. Notes: This started out as a promotional render for my Hailee V4 character from 2015. I then reopened the original scene file a week or so ago and decided to give it some new life and turn it into a full artwork to stand on its own (like I did with Arkham Angel last year). I may do this to a few more of Hailee’s old promo renders because I put so much work into the originals that it will only take a little more to turn them into full, stand-alone artworks that deserve to be seen. Tech notes: I used the original scene file from January 2015 as a base and kept most of the elements and the lighting the same. My main changes were slightly altering some materials, enhancing the hoop to have more polys and thus be smoother/rounder, and alter the posing to fix some little poke-through and other such errors that weren’t noticable in the smaller web sized version of this render. I enlarged the render to the 4:3 ratio at 300ppi for high quality printing and adjusted the camera for the new ratio. In postwork, I used some faint adjustment layers to enhance the contrast and colors and then added a decorative border plus a soft texture overlay.
