Hello everyone:) Don't worth that i excuse me again and again and again...I AM LATE, as always-it is obvious! However, i didn't wanted to finish this 1st month of the year without give my best wishes for you all and all yours, and to wish the best of the very best in 2017... So, to you all, much health, much strength, love and joy and may your life be a permanent dance. I send healing thoughts for everyone that need it and also so that all the others, can be far from illness and troubles. I also want to thank you deeply, your Art and your daily presence along all the time. It pulled me up, as well as your sympathy and support . BUT !!! today is ''Lunar New Year'':)) so, perhaps i am not that late, lol:) HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE:) !! I wish you much creativity and that all your dreams can be true. Cheers,ana (and this is a old drawing, to be part of 'something'.. that never finished)

I know it was hard for you to do this, with all you have to do at home. But you couldn't have chosen a better painting: It's full of light and joy and radiant energies---something I wish for you, Ana, as I know you've wished it for us.

The piece: The lines are like "energy lines," so this dancer (and her reflection) are dancing amidst a "rainfall of energies". Like she's dancing inside a maze of lights. You called it "The Mirror" (if I read your hand-writing correctly): So this is a woman and her reflection. But it can also be the "two sides" of this woman: She's dancing for everyone, it seems. For the whole world. That's how it feels to me. And then, she has many sides, herself: And you've shown us two, here.

Then you have these deep saturated yellows...they're like butter, and they make her shine, they make her golden. And your other hues are beautiful light pinks and earthen-reds. And I recognize your "ballet" style: Your dance art is as distinct as Degas' dance art. It's all yours, it's ballet, but also 'human' dance. And she's in joy, but she's also immersed inside herself: "Public solitude," as some acting schools call it: Being totally at-one with yourself, in front of the world. That's what I see in your dance art, and what you've done here.

And her feet---beautiful detail on her shoes and stockings, yet her face is light and air. There's a saying from ancient India: We see the feet of the wise soul first, then we see the rest of their body...because the feet are 'of this earth', whereas the eyes are from heaven. So the feet are totally visible, while the eyes still have 'light' around them---because they've just come down from heaven, and therefore they glow.

That's what I see in this woman. It's beautiful, soft, quiet, gentle and (as always) loving. That's how you paint. A beautiful New Year wish, and I wish it all back to you. The Lunar Year is the Year of the Rooster, and the rooster calls-out the dawn. So it's fitting. Thank you so much for coming here again, Ana, I know it's not easy; and everytime you come here, you bring your light and love with you. I'm always grateful. A beautiful upload, and I wish you 'rainfalls' of light in return...

When I was little girl, I used to draw ballerinas - it must have been the fascination with dancing for freedom and that's why I can associate with your dancer's moves on paper, because ballerinas always practice in front of the mirror, mainly to correct their moves... [well, that's what we did and thought so anyway] .

Very interesting - those yellow hues are so light and airy, combined with those criss-cross lines throughout, make it appear, as if she is a like a marionette doll dancing so transcendentally, barely touching the ground. Simply serene.

This is beautiful! You have captured the joy of dance and the joy that dancers give others. I was listening to Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro. The finale of act 2 came on, and as it always does, it sent my spirits soaring. Then I looked at your image and though, Mozart for the eyes. It has the same effect of sending my spirits soaring. The joy and beauty of motion, both for the dancer and for the watcher, is there. Thank you for this, and for the many times your art has lifted my spirits to the sky. Happy New Year, Ana. May it be filled with nourishing light and beauty.

OHHH Ana! You posted this beautiful finally. I am so glad you did. It deserves the attention. Love the graceful dancers and their emotional movements and the skirts in the wind. And I adore the butter colored background, so gentle and inviting. And May 2017 give you ALL the things you wish for, my dear friend. You certainly deserve it. :-)
