well, well, well…I am not in a skyscraper:)))))) but to climb till this place, without broke the ‘stuff’ to toast with you, was a ‘good' exercise due my age:)hahah OK! OK!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Mark:)))! I wish YOU a Happy and blessed day, filled with health, love and joy, dear friend! This time...as i was not able to finish my drawing to you....(but i will, soon or later-- is a PROMISE! ) i decided to offer you a view of my city:) I know you already visited my country long ago:) and that you would like to come again:) YOU ARE WELCOME! Lisboa is called the city of the Seven hills and this view, it is a view from the highest part of the city. Above and behind from the place where i did this shot, it is the ''Castelo de S. Jorge'' ( St. George's Castle ), sited on the city's tallest hill. Inside, there is museums , coffee shop, restaurants and often many events: traditional dances and dances of traditions, music , and others arts. Also inside, in the base, the castle is inhabited. St. George's Castle was built in the 6th century, and it was named after the England's patron saint following the Anglo-Portuguese alliance. But what matter to me, more than this image, is that i had to drop here, in this day of Spring, to toast with YOU and to give you my wishes for your new year ahead and also to say how dear and special you are and how much i treasure your deep friendship. I wish YOU, Mark, that SPRING brings to YOU, much health, much inspiration, creativity and the very best of EVERYTHING! You deserve all that and much more! You are a precious soul for all of us-a gift - and the most warmhearted person i ever knew ! My biggest thank you for your love, for your humor always present as well the seriousity of your appreciation in everything that we do always! and of course, for your Art, which with you grace us all the time---your writing, music and painting---They are priceless! TONS OF LOVE AND LIGHT FOR YOU! MAY SUN SHINE UPON YOU ALWAYS, dear friend !! Enjoy your day! First...It looks like you're standing on a roof! Well---you're standing on a crane, lol, next to a table and some flowers: But, it also looks like you're standing on a roof! I assume you're on a balcony, or maybe near a window: It's an amazing shot, Ana, I've never seen one like this from you. You usually shoot from the street, or your own balcony (where you're close to the street). It's beautiful---all those tiled roofs, and that beautiful water; a beautiful pov. (It reminds me of one of your drawings long ago...Foz? It's a similar composition, with lots of rooftops. I loved that drawing too.) A wonderful, ultra-sunny shot of your beautiful city.

Second, I love your cartoon figures: I love how these cartoons are on a crane (guindaste), high above the city---I just love that! And you're waiting up there with a bottle of wine, a glass, and flowers! Wonderful! I've always loved your cartoon paintings. And finally, thank you so much for your beautiful words: You've always so kind to me and my life, and I appreciate everything you wrote, even though I don't deserve it all. Thank you for everything you said, from the bottom of my heart. Muito obrigado! Eu adorei o presente. (That sounds very formal, I know, but it's the only Português I know!) (Obrigado mesmo?)
