More of the ship's funnels, plus an escalator, captured on my old Sears (Pentax) film camera, way, way back in 1983.

There really are a number of possible ways of capturing those smoke stacks. (I didn't realize they were called "funnels" on ships!) They make for so many types of photograph. A real cluttered energy in this shot, the front funnel wants to crowd out everything else. And the purple blue sky is a fine contrast to those deep oranges. (With whites to contrast even further.) The escalator is a look-down---and it's dizzying from this pov: all the lines suggest plunge, with your shot divided equally at the center. A disconcerting plunge of a shot; and what I often feel as I step onto an escalator for the first time. Fine compositions, pov's and crops, Harry.

Funnel view from the port bridge wing? Looks like it. A rather compact view along the port upper works. Is the escalator inside the ship? Or outside? A pity if it is inside, doing violence to the integrity of the ship. Keep up the good work! :-)

I always think "Titanic" when I look at the Queen Mary images. Lovely Harry.

I think it must have been a beautiful ship to visit. Beautiful photos.

Love the composition of capture one and the effectful color of the funnels 😊
