Description
One of several old film shots I scanned of a trip I took to New Mexico perhaps some 30 plus years ago. This was at the world famous Albuquerque International Balloon Festival, which is held each October. I was on my way to visit my brother in Santa Fe at the time and it just so happened to coincide with the festival.

I've tried to leave a comment on this 3 times, but the site keeps eating it alive. I really like the cut-off top, and how the balloon intrudes into the shot. And the contrast of that burnt-yellow with the deep blue sky. And the clouds on one side, and the colors on the underside of the balloon. I really like your crop and the strong hues. A very satisfying image.

I like the fact that the top is cut off. It somehow just works. This is really a lovely colorful and fun image Harry!
