Captured way back on 4/2/07, at the beautiful Descanso Gardens in beautiful LaCañada/Flintridge, California.

In zoom, we can see an almost 'design' or print sense in this; partly flat whites, creamy and bright; and the greens are light and soft. (This demands zoom.) It has a print feeling, bold, and soft too. And the contrasts of orange against all this is striking. Rich and gentle work on these. And a gentle frame too, with fine cropping.

I adore daffodils in all colors and shapes. This is a remarkable variety with the almost orange crown and white outer leaves. Stellar detail Harry.
