Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

Good move on the tears. Stiff upper lip and all that. They are a very attractive couple. Wishing them much happiness.

I've seen pics of Jordan before, but I never really saw his face like this---he's a handsome and caring-looking person. And she is beautiful, and looks totally, quietly immersed here. Lovely closeup of a great ceremony. And you saved the tears until the end---so you could 'see' the whole thing, lol. (Not through the fog of tears!) Wonderful quiet shot. I still remember the tales you told about Jordan, the Santa tale, and that wild tale of you on a river and how you could've been wiped out, and Jordan masterfully knowing everything to do on that raging river...and here he is quietly being married. I wish them a great life together, and you, real joy. A shining jewel to add to your life. Congratulations again, this is wonderful!
