Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

This looks very nice. My friend Gabriel was so broke no one got champagne at his wedding.

You can keep the champagne, but the flowers are lovely! Super pic!

This spells a splendid composition of lovely roses, champagne, flutes, and a beautifully etched table top, all contrasted a nice dark background, Marilyn.

Elegance & luxury...

Beautiful clarity here, and the strong blacks really make the roses and bottle stand out. Beautiful wedding shot (I mean, from the wedding---I realize there are no people in it). And the bottle is partially hidden in all its dark and reflective beauty. A really fine still life, Marilyn. And another beautiful piece of your son's wedding. It's been great to see pictures of this. It seemed like such a special intimate ceremony. I'm still so happy for you...
