Description
I've been a huge fan of the 1960 film: "The Time Machine" by George Pal
which inspired me to do this rendering as well as many brass and wood models
through the years.
This piece would not have been possible without the wonderful Poser prop
by Morpheus. This is truly an accurate model of the iconic prop.
Thank you again Morpheus!!!
This was done in Daz 4.9 Pro and rendered in 3Delight.
Post work in PSP.
It was tough to light and took a while. I hope you like it.

I try very hard to give credit to prop artists. If I am in error regarding any prop, please
contact me and I will correct it. Thanks for looking!

Great scene, well done !!!

Thanks!

Great scene. Yes, Morpheus did a great job on the prop. Rendered it myself, but you've done a great job here with the additional props and positioning. Thanks for sharing.

Definitely one of my top-ten sci-fy movies of all time!!! This IS a very cool model. . . I may have to try it out. Your render is very nice but I am wondering why you are using 3Dlight and not IRAY? You mentioned something about getting more realistic images a while back and IRAY would be a step in the right direction. Still, I'm liking your work very much.

Nice job!!!!!

Thanks guys! Greywolf44. My PC isn't the best in the world by a long shot so iRay really takes forever. I'll give this one a try though. Reality is so much faster. I suppose I've just gotten too used to 3Dlight.

I remember that movie. This is a very richly conceived interior scene with lots of interesting things to look at. Everything looks so shiny and polished. Must be a lot of work keeping the place so clean and tidy! You ruined the whole thing by not showing the face of the Mona Lisa, though... Just joking, you don't mind. :)
coyoteviper
awesome. Loved both the movies, but this time machine is by far the better one.
