Description

(I think I posted a black-and-white of this before...) The sun is flattened by an optical illusion, common to low-horizon shots. This is near home. (You wouldn't know there was a huge city right behind me...) Thanks for all your visits! m (please zoom) -----------------------------------

Looks like a opening scene for some movie with mystery. Cool TOD capture, Mark. I like the two figures walking towards the light.

Very hot & intense. This would make a great promo poster for a surfing movie (well okay, if it actually had a surfer in it)...

A fascinating show, what looks so private, and doesn't guess indeed, that behind it, there's a complete other world, huh?

Beautiful capture Mark. I like the silhouettes of the two people before the big sun very much.
You caught the right moment.

Absolutely a stunning photo, Mark! Sometimes it pays to get up early (I am NOT a morning person! LOL)

Mark your calendar for August 21... Total solar eclipse over most of the USA.

The sun is a red hot poker radiating heat as it rises or descends in this remarkable capture, Mark.
