Hello !
My name is Helle. I live in Denmark on the Island, Zealand. I have a husband and two sons and three grandchildren, so I am a happy person.
I like many kinds of art and I try to limit myself, but I dont succeed very well. I love my PSP9 and I think I use it every day. I like to draw, paint and experiment on canvas or paper and I wish I had time do it every day. My biggest wish is, that there would be 48 hours instead of the poor 24 a day. I just dont think it will ever happen ;)
A fantastic new world opened for me, when I was Introduced to Renderosity for the first time. I am very grateful to be a part if this site.

Hello, dearest Helle:) I was about beginning a letter to you, when i had this 'ebbot'! It is an amazing photo from 88 years ago...and i imagine that you were not expecting to find it:) It was a great find, when you were searching for something else--this is a great and loving memory, to stay forever with you- -your grandfather and father together! Thank you very much for sharing this memory with us. It is a lovely and deep tribute to them:)

It must have been inspiring to find this old chestnut among your possessions, Helle. Fishermen galore, including a kinfolk, all set for a relaxing day at the beach. You did a nice job of presenting it here.

I love finding old treasures like this! A great find, Helle!
If you like historic photos, you should spend some time exploring Shorpy.com. I could spend hours there..

Yes (ala Rod), shorpy has great old photos. So does the american "Library of Congress"...
A great old find. And do you realize that just 2 months later, the Stock Market crashed, and the world went into a Depression? In any case, amazing find with your paternal grandfather, and great period photos, and a taste of life from almost 100 years ago. I translated the headline (via Google) as "A body found at the 'graf zeppelin"---is that the same as what you wrote above? It sounds like they found some dead bodies somewhere...and I don't think that has anything to do with your grandfather. A wonderful find, and a piece of family history. Thanks for translating/explaining so much of it. Full size, this is a real find, Helle.
