Its amazing how this grows.

lichen, moss, fungi, there's a whole kingdom out there that just blows me away. It was in your gallery that I first saw closeups of these amazing growths, and I still marvel at how complex they are. In zoom you got this whole tangle of lettuce leaves and flat bonsai trees. And it reaches up, as if some branches were climbing to get free. In the flickr version, you go "in medias res," drop us into the middle of it all, and we're in a big tangle. Beautiful stuff, Andrea. I never tire of these.
