Description

--- please zoom this: it's very long... Near home (forgive color-distortion: not the best camera for this, but I wanted the shot, so went with it) Thanks so much, everyone! I'll be back soon, love and peace to you all mark --------------------

I feel like I'm on a very tall and steep roller coaster at the peak of the first drop! WOW! What a rush this photo brings

Sharp detail and repetitive black and white contrast in this long drink of water.

I prefer plunging necklines but as this doesn't involve clothing I'll just say I find this an outstanding composition. The two trees tend to guide the eye upwards until the sudden drop caused by the angle of the building. That explains Mike's roller coaster reference. Throw in color, pattern and the high key of the sky and you have a superb image.

I love the lines in this, Mark - and of course the humor, too.... "Plunging hemlines....." :-D

We'll keep your chair warm, my friend! Looking forward to your return!

OMG! The crop on this is a work of art unto itself! We can't grasp architecture all at once (at least I can't ... too much detail to chew on), and you've done a wonderful job of showing us one small section of this building and nothing else. Delicious!

That's a rather massive shot. I love the angle and the impression of weight this gives. Now I'm wondering if I can pull this off in a render.
