Description

--------- One of two pics before I take a break. Work has piled up, and I'm not young enough to do it all at once. It'll be a short break... Everyone: I want to thank you for dealing with my sudden outpouring of fiction. I know that not all of you come to RR to read fiction; and some of my pieces are long, and, for some of you, strange and even weird. (They're strange and weird for me, and I wrote the stuff!) You've been wonderful with it, and I thank you so much for receiving it with such open arms and enthusiasm: It's meant the world to me. And for those of you who just can't plow through another 'Mark' piece: I fully understand. It's perfectly understandable. If you're interested: I've started the 'dreaded submission' process---to journals, magazines, etc. And I'm applying for grants too. I've got teachers and prof friends who've urged me to enter that market, so I finally have. (And they'll hear about it if I lose my mind.) I've been in the arts since I was, like, minus 14, and I know too well how awful the market can be---it's so different from the love at Renderosity. But I gotta do this. So I'm doing it between other work... --------- Just a lighthouse, with play... m (please see them big---they're pretty dull, small) ------------------------------------

Is that a lighthouse, a buoy, or something else? Whatever it is, it's BIG and quite imposing. The people to the side give it a softer look--- if that's possible!!

This is great news! I wish you the best! Your stories are wonderful and fun to read and your comments to my and other's art are enjoyable as well. Your photography and image play open new realms for all of us as well. And I have to thank you for your encouragement for my art. You've also help me unlock my own mind to be more creative in responding to yours and other's art.

Wonderful photo, its stark simplicity of the structure in the center with the people off to the one side is a joy to view

First of all, Mark, we come to Renderosity to enjoy the work of other artists. And you sir are one of the best. If publishers have any sense they will jump on your submission immediately. Best of luck with that.

Sometimes a simple subject can speak volumes, and communicate a wonderful mood. This is one of those. A very lovely photo, Mark!

I wish you all the luck in the world with your submissions, Mark, and I hope you find much success! And if you do, I'll be bugging you for advice! LOL

I love the graphic, softly blocky look you've gotten with this. It has the feeling of an old Cunard Line poster. Gorgeous!
