You portray childhood so magically. I loved this as soon as it went up. (I've seen everything in my absence.) Love the outfit on the little girl, its bulbous legs and those great socks and shoes (they look like ballet slippers). And all the objects around her. You use clearly stylized, toy-like objects, and yet they don't detract from the realness of the scenes at all; they just make them more child-like and magical. Love the flowers, and the different hues of them. And the sewing stuff, all very touchable and bright. And the pink vase, where the flower seems to be growing right out of the plastic or ceramic. With that gigantic spool, and the gigantic needle and button---incl something like a button on her head: Delightful work. With mom sitting in the background watching patiently...Man, if we had objects this big and bright when I was a kid, I'd have been a nuclear physicist today! Terrific.
