I have just pass through the gate to the court yard, when.... ....GACK! COLOR! Is there color in this bleak world? Yes, there sure is! The traffic cones are so people won’t drive their cars or walk into the ditch. The ditch is for installation of a sewage pipe and water pipes to the end of the stables being converted into an apartment which comprises the two windows and red door. How it’s to be heated is a mystery – cold and damp worse than outdoors! Through the gate one can see a small part of the huge grounds belonging to the farm. To the left is the main building. The stairs are to the kitchen entrance. The key to teaching room, conference room, treatment room, office and reception are hidden in the kitchen (HA! Secret! Secret!) after it was discovered someone had gotten into the office (and it WASN’T the house spook!). My laptop was on, the screen folded up, the battery almost dead. Some desks had been rifled. Nothing missing. Suspect – the brother (read: bother) in law of the owner (family conflict of 5 years duration, which is destroying the school). So, it’s my responsibility to open up and lock up, see that all is in order (no spookies or things disturbed or missing). Unfortunately, things STILL get feet, but usually don’t get far since they can’t find the key to get out (ha, ha! It’s in the kitchen and things with feet are locked in)! Enjoy!
