Description
Captured way back on 10/18/09, at the beautiful Orchid Show held at the beautiful Huntington Botanical Center and Conservatory in beautiful San Marino, California.

I actually just covered the last bunch of shots without any break---I skipped, but I've now done your last 13 shots in a row: That's most unusual for me! (This is my 9th, tonight.) Beautiful orchid capture, with deep pinks and beautiful centers, and a gentle "lean," as if they're gently bowing to us. The background is suitably dark (something you say I do too), and it sets off the blooms beautifully. Plus, a stem back there lines up with the center petal of the shot: Fine composition, Harry. A beautiful piece of flower work, and cropped and proportioned beautifully.
