Description

In-camera panorama taken on a walk in my neighborhood yesterday. The small mountain in the background is Roxy Ann Peak, the highest point in Medford. The sky looked somewhat ominous when I started my walk. As I was almost ready to turn around & head home, my wife called & asked if I wanted her to pick me up, as she said it had started raining. Although I hadn't felt any drops myself yet, I was happy to get a ride home. As we approached home, it started to rain more heavily & I was thankful for her thoughtfulness. She is a very caring person - not just towards me, but for friends, complete strangers & especially animals... Please zoom.

I always like when you tell us little bits about your family and friends. A loving and wonderful description of Arlene. Gives a lot of hope when there are a lot of not-so-caring people around. Your panorama has real layers; the dried grasses in front, the greens and browns; the town back there (city? town?) and the peak. And that "lowering" sky, with those silky furls along the horizon, and creamy billows above. A very rich shot, love the town nestled in back there---something painters love to see---and how flat it all looks in your shot, even with peaks across the background...

I had no idea you had extinct volcanoes where you live! A fascinating photo.
