I love your beaches and oh dear I'm very close to sticking my foot in my mouth and commenting on groynes, so I'll just quit while I'm ahead and say how much I like this shot!!

ps,,,,they built several groynes in Newport Beach many years ago when the beaches were eroding. Really ticked the surfers off cuz it ruined the break there!!
