....it's just Mr Goanna!
At nearly 7 feet long and often reaching 20kg's, they are amazing creatures. They are found in eastern Australia and range from Cape Bedford on Cape York Peninsula to south-eastern South Australia.

An all Australian comodo dragon? Are they dangerous - i.e. chase people for a bite? Nice photo of this one.

G'day! No they are not likely to chase you down and attack, but they can give a bad bite if needed. The problem with them is that they have oral venom glands that cause bites to become horribly septic.
