Here's a member or shall I say the one and only member of the Black Polar Bear Club. A very exclusive club indeed! This rare photo was taken December 23, 2010 with my camera on a tripod. Brrr... was it ever cold that Christmas. Thermal underwear, thick jacket, winter lining in my coat, thick scarf and warm hat and I still was cold! Darned humidity and wind chill.
I sent this photo to my brother who has NO snow in San Francisco. He was rather amused, as we have both lived in Montréal and have had experiences with Montréal snow storms! Like, 2 foot dumps in an hour and super high winds. Brrr.....
I'm putting this under humor as the Black Polar Bear Club is rather comical!

the wind can go right threw the heaviest of winter clothing. I worked one winter outside of the convention center on the construction of a builders sample home. I was doing the red wood decks. each morning the temp was 14 to 16 F

I can remember a few winters where I had to bury myself in this much clothing. Not much fun... You can't move very well, and sometimes the cold still seems to go right through it. Brrrrrrr.....
