Description

Just a quick upload tonight.... This lovely lady is Elaine for G3F by my pal Jenny (Pixeluna), available over at DAZ. I posed her in front of this lovely old house in a historic park in Kansas City. Elaine was rendered in DS 4.9 Iray. I photographed this building a couple years ago. The next two days are going to be....... interesting........... so I may not be back until the weekend at the earliest. Here's what I get to look forward to Thursday: "The day before the procedure you will be on a clear liquid diet the entire day. See instructions for Clear Liquid Diet. At 3:00pm take 4 Dulcolax/Bisacodyl tablets. At 5:00pm mix 64 oz bottle of Gatorade or Propel with the bottle of Miralax. Drink this within a 2-hour period. If you become nauseated or begin vomiting while drinking the solution, slow down and when the nausea subsides begin drinking the solution again. Continue the liquid diet until midnight and then have nothing to eat or drink after midnight." As you can see, I will likely be.....ummm........ indisposed most of the evening. It gets even better on Friday... I get to have a camera shoved........well......... never mind....... On a far pleasanter note, I see the T.N.A. Girls are on the scrolling 'Featured Galleries' banner! WooHoo! And...... Alex (ZanderXL) is back! Anyway, Thanks for stopping by, and for any comments you wish to leave - I appreciate them more than I can put into words! Hope everyone has a great weekend, and assuming I live through the next 2 days, I'll be back!

Rod, I haven't time to comment on your wonderful uploads right now, but I wanted to wish you the best on your tests! I've been through the liquid thing, and yes, it's a joy! The last time I did it, I found 3 breakfronts, 2 old Volkswagens, 6 people I hadn't seen in ages, and a signed copy of the Magna Carta. (It was a blast.) (One of the Volkswagens still started up. Damn fine car.) No one I know has ever gotten sick from it, it's just a royal pain in the ___. I wish you all the best with your tests, and I'm happy you're recovered from your illness---or at least enough to face the big cleanout. Just wanted to wish you well! (I love how you mixed this fine model with that photo---seamless! And yes, the discovery of those planets was a major deal. I plan to visit them in April...) Real comments soon, but all the best, and I hope the tests are 100% good!

I say schweeeet! Love them cherries, Rod. And thanks for your compliments. Still can't hold a candle to your work. My.mom when she had a colon test had some ways also and when she had surgery. I hope, pray and pulling for you bro. Get lots of rest after that Rod, we will be here for you and G4 & AR can wait also. Your health is more important my friend.

The shirt says it all, SWEET!!!!... great work, I see your getting better DS 4.9.... and I too will be doing the old camera up the.... well you know. really not looking forwards to it. and when it's over I will be having some vary special nurses looking after me...

So if you by accident do eat or drink something after midnight, you'll end up like a Gremlin?? That's worse than G4 being a vampire (which is so not totally true; so they say).

Great image, Rod!

Been there myself and it is no fun! The last two hours I never even bothered to step away from the toilet. A suggestion: have a new pack of baby wipes on hand - you'll need them (trust me on this) the actual procedure was quick for me (I remember discussing the selection of music with the nurse) and afterwards, my sister drove me over to Taco Bell so I could load up on food.

I know all about the procedure(3 times) and do not relish doing it at all. going without eating the next morning is no fun also. at my age, I doubt if I will do it again. a neighbor had it done before I did my last. his doctor told him once he starts the liquid crap not to leave the house. he thought that it was true, but heeded the doctor's advice.

the first time I did it, I had to drink one gallon of some terrible tasting stuff

Well, the moment of truth is near. All the best to you, Rod. In the good(?) old days it was starvation except for drinking soda pop, and a few enemas, starting the day before. Today, well, drink a lot of chemicals to flush the system out. Start small and see how you take it, then increase the intake until it's all in and on the way through. But, there will be a LOT of out put, so stay on the potty. Have a good book with funny stories to keep up morale, or write upcoming episodes of TNA to keep your mind off all the liquid in coming out. Don't bring a laptop! It may well become a "has been" (things get feet in hospitals, too!). Yes, she's sweet. What I find so great here is your shadow work! It looks SO REAL! Now all I can say is, we're rooting for you! Wishing you all the best! T.Rex and Michael and Summer (there. I think I've included all the important ones on my end wishing you well!). :-)
