Description

Reposted at a larger size for people who like big pictures and gruesome desktops... :) During the long march home after their defeat in the west, the Dark Army camped at Amon Mithell. Supplies were short, the generals had not bargained on the journey back, having been assured of the spoils and loot of victory. It was decided to do away with the battle trolls during the night, since they consumed the most and would be of little use to the command in the east. Their broth was poisoned and brought before their company. However, the Captain of the Battle Trolls, Erech Hummvial, was alerted to the generals' plan by a lowly slave goblin, faithful to his trollish master. Erech turned his trolls on the camp, and thus began the Slaughter of Amon Mithell, and the final ruination of the Dark Army. And the mounds of carrion were high indeed. The orc is my new character for mike, Ragbash the troll and his battlepack also by me (available MP) Rendered in Poser, postwork in PS

This is really cool! I am not easily impressed, but this gets my vote! Great fantasy action scene, tasteful effects, great post-work and textures. You have it all here! No naked females, but hey, there is always next time for that :)
