My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

You lined this up perfectly - the only thing that could have improved it would have been if you had caught it with a wisp of smoke coming out of the chimney...

Haa! Great going! But I wonder what's become of all the people who worked in these industries? Unemployed? I remember the late 1970s when I as at Harvard a few months, I stayed at Lynn, Massachusetts. There were a lot of shoe industries that had folded and a lot of unemployed. I felt so sorry for them. Great US shoes, out of business. Cheap shoes imported, which would become fashionable brand names. Trump has a heck of a job cut out for him if all these industries are to be revived or replaced. Keep up the good work! :-)

Delightful! Don't you just love it when things line up like this? So fun... A most delightful photo, Tara!
I'd sell my soul (well, almost) for one of those streetlight units....

One way to stop air pollution. This is SO good, Tara. What a spectacular eye you have.

lol, Mark, and I agree with him too. The silhouetting of the forms allows for your title to work perfectly. And it's a strong abstract too, even without the 'snuffer' part in mind. Proportions are fine too---all that sky balancing the deep shadows of the lower third. Striking, pure and simple. And I recognize those new england shapes and colors.
