Description
Captured way back on 10/18/09, at the beautiful Huntington Botanical Center and Conservatory in beautiful San Marino, California.
Unless I screamed for help I would never be able to get up again if I took a stance like that.

May resemble a lady, but it's a man.

lol, I thought it was a lady too, at first; but yes, when one looks closely, it's a man. This is doused in a rich luminous yellow patina, like it was soaked in honey or melted butter; and it gives the shot a rich, warm glow. I love the composition, with the flowers on the right, the man near the middle, and a guy standing behind him, on the left. It's such a rich composition. We think it's about the guy, then it's about the flowers, then it's about the room, then about the man standing up---the image shifts focus constantly. A rich buttery shot, and you caught the look of a photographer perfectly; not only for his stance, but for all the paraphernalia draped all over him. He's got a lotta stuff attached to him. Fine shot, with several things to focus on. (Even the table and chair is a whole other world!)
