My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

Great city scene & interesting effect - it does look like selective coloring...

A stunning view. Parts of Houston were built on a swamp. My brother lived here about twenty-five years ago and told me it still was. I guess the town grew up.

Claude spoke of this looking like selective coloring, and you alluded to it too---but anyone who lives in a huge city knows that's just how it looks. In the night, the lights are mostly white against black (you have to get close to see the actual colors in these windows), and the tops of buildings are often bright reds, pinks, yellows and some blues: They're to guide planes, and also to advertise. Their hues are chosen on purpose.) The shot is a beautiful night shot in a huge city, and the big black sky makes a beautiful foil to the jewel-like bldgs. Fine work with a mere cellphone! Must've reminded you of Chicago...
