Description

This is the day I was to return to the United States. A few days earlier British Airways had called me and informed me that my scheduled flight from Munich to Denmark this day had been cancelled and that I would leave the following day on a direct flight from Munich to Heathrow. I was given the flight number and departure time. It started to snow around noon today, and the forecast was for snow throughout the night. I did not want to wait until the morning to leave for the airport as my cousin suggested. From my cousins house to the airport is about 95 miles and my flight was scheduled to depart at 11:00 and all I had was a flight number but no assigned seat and I was worried about rush hour traffic in Munich and the snow conditions.
