I enjoy creating artwork in Poser, Photoshop CC, Vue, and DAZ Studio. I also have a passion for photography, and have been actively shooting for many years. I've been using Poser since Version 8, and am also learning my way around DAZ Studio. I've been using Adobe Photoshop since version 4. I also use Vue 10. I frequently use my photos as backgrounds, and composite my 3D figures into them.
I have been creating my web comic / graphic novel "The Girls From T.N.A." since fall of 2009, and have been a member of Renderosity since August 2009. I've made a lot of wonderful friends here, and have been inspired every time I visit!
I will soon have a more complete biography, as I am updating everything. In the meantime, have a look around my gallery!
Thanks!
Rod

amazing the technology that is available to us today, if one has the money. congrats on the very valuable tool for photography

WOW! makes me think of Terminator 3!!!! I wonder how it could handle a semi-auto 22?
RodS
You'd probably have to use something bigger for that.... Never mind the FAA would have a cow, two kittens, and a rabbit over that..
I saw on YouTube some time ago some kid actually attached a 9mm auto to a homemade drone. And as if that wasn't enough he made a flamethrower for his drone as well. He had a video of it flaming a turkey (from the store, not a live one). I think the FAA came down on him for that stunt.

Absolutely incredible. It truly is Terminator-ish tech. What amazing capabilities. I just found myself wondering whether it would be possible to view in real time what it is viewing through a virtual reality headset. I wouldn't doubt it. Astounding stuff, Rod.
RodS
Yes. Google 'drone racing' sometime - those guys race drones that will approach 100 mph, and they pilot the things wearing VR goggles. It's amazing! DJI is supposed to have a VR headset soon for the Mavic. I might get one depending on the price, but for now, the Ipad works just fine!

Delightfully Wonderful Work,

Cool craft, the only thing it's not carrying is a pizza, like the Comercial on tv. These must be a blast to own and operate. All we need is bad folks putting weapons on these and causing havoc. Cool flight shot, Rod.

I have to admit that thing looks cool!... so this makes three now... great! your drone fleet is coming along great!
RodS
It's the beginning of the T.N.A. Air Force!

Wow! You surely do have a lot of amazing toys Rod! I bet you can't wait to retire.....then you'll have a lot more time to spend flying these drones!! Just don't fly any of them over my house...or I might just shoot them down with my bow and arrows....'LOL'!! Just kidding....hahaa....I'd luv to see one of your drones flying over my house.....I'd be waving to them....'lol'!! :)
Desgar
Haven't seen Terminator 3, but your new drone would probably be mistaken for a Decepticon from one of Michael Bay's Transformers movies. Can't wait to see what you do with it!

Cool your another eyes with wing, RodS-san!

Hey!! Where's the nose art??? This surely is a great piece for holidays in deed. A few years ago, I took my little Blade 200 QX with a HD key cam with me on a US trip and made great videos. Unfortunately due to the FAA-Regulations this wouldn't be possible anymore nowadays (for a non US citizen).
RodS
LOL - Not much room on this little guy for nose art, but I'll see what I can come up with!
Hey, if you ever get across the pond to the States again, bring your Blade and look me up. We'll slap a temporary sticker with my FAA number on it (pretty sure that's legal), and go flyin'!

You sure will have fun with that little Insect :-)
T.Rex
It sure looks like a crazy bug! I wonder how long before someone mistakenly takes a fly swatter to one of these! I'm real curious to see a photo of this with a ruler beside it - top view. Beginnings of the TNA air force? They already have several flying transports, so why a mini one? Miniaturize this one and sneak it into Snowzem's hide out, listen in, and sabotage! Lucky you, Rod. Glad to see the new toy! Unfortunately, the gov. bad guys will most likely take 'em all and forbid the populace to have any for fear we will find them out (like is being done with Wikileaks). Keep up the good work! :-)
Madbat
Yes, you need to put nose art on that bad boy, either a pinup or sharks teeth. (Or a pinup with shark teeth? Um....no, maybe not.)

That's cool Rod! Love the black color. Okay. Charge up you old one and set her GPS to my house in NH and send her on over. I'll adopt her, LOL.

Amazing toy!

It's just so weird---it looks like a little toy under your living room ceiling---it's just amazing that that thing actually flies way up and takes photographs! It's so toy-like! Love the look and detail, and the swirly mass of moving blades. And the gray. I didn't even know these things were available to the general public; love the shot. And you can see it/control it from a mobile device? AMazing...
