Bonding certainly takes commitment up another level, that's for sure. Makes me think this world would be much better off if humans were as faithful and loyal as the dragons I've met through your story.

Really enjoyed Rejenn's speculation too. Plausible theory with the twins explanation, but I think this bears out Occam's razor.

And marvelous work with this scene! Fantastic camera and detail with smoke even coming out of the chimney.

This is the last part of the prolog. It's longer than any of the chapters in the book. I've come to the conclusion I can't write short stories. I don't know how to be brief.
