Unusual view! But it sure gets the point across - wide wing for maxi lift. Interesting with the rows of rivets in the wing. A lot of work to make the wing. And many of these planes lasted only some 20 or more raids before being shot down or so shot up they had to be scrapped. Keep up the good work! :-)

a finely balanced shot, for all its extreme reaches. Love that wing sweeping out to greet us. And the rest of the shot seems to balance it out. Fine proportions between ground and horizon and sky. The fact that the wing touches the tip of this photo somehow 'completes' it all for us. Another fine shot from this aviation series of late...
