Beautiful wide angle of the rear half of the plane! These inside view give a great picture of the construction. Seems a bit thin and flimsy. At waist gunners location. Big, open windows meant freezing cold at high elevation (30,000 feet). Poor fellows! And no nice walk way or comfy seats (if any seats at all!). Interesting with all the wires in the ceiling. Bare essentials! Thanks for the inside photos! Keep up the good work! :-)

Great shot, the seats surprised me at first (I didn't expect seats like that on the original WWII ones lol ;).

Excellent photo!

Fascinating, no wonder all the airmen in photos from the war looked half frozen!

I see the side guns are in place - cool capture!!!

great capture. A plane reduced to military purposes is squeezed out from all comfort.

interesting and impressive! never saw it from inside, thx for sharing 😀

Now I know why they chose to crew people of small stature. Decidedly cramped fuselage!_:

This interior shot really illustrates what those crews had to endure - along with enemy fighters trying to punch holes in them... Creature comforts were not a priority.
Excellent photo, Richard.

Surprised how small the interior is. Had it in my head they were much bigger inside.
