Description

I imagine the hands of Caravaggio presenting his interpretation of the last moments of life of the gorgon Medusa. Terrible in his pain but still terrific and able to stone with her gaze. A dedication to the great painter and his brilliant way of seeing things.

And for at least one fleeting moment she will experience the pain she inflicted on others. Excellent realization!

It's her turn to suffer...or is she putting a final curse on us ? This is an excellent creation...with Caravaggio on your side !

I love his style, that low key high contrast lighting leads to very striking images. I'm wondering if this was influenced by medusa painted on a leather jousting shield. It looks similar.

Carravagio (Michelangelo Merisi) as David with the head of Goliath seems rested from his efforts, of presenting his own head for Freudian analysis, and your expression appears faithful to those artistic tenets
