Description
.
Time travel? That's the easy part ..... once you have a time machine.
The tricky, most important part is ensuring you have a safe spot in which to land in the future as well as when you return
home to the present.
What this means is that you must be certain Point A remains as Point A in an unchanged state when traversing time.
And thanks to her parents' foolproof planning, Jen Jen never had to worry about stepping through the time gate and landing
inside a solid brick wall. Or stepping off the upper deck of a new stadium. Or dodging traffic in the middle of a busy intersection.
This facility, her home, had been constructed under Public Observatory Status on ten thousand acres of private government
land through a purchase agreement her father brokered with his contacts in The Space Agency contingent upon their remote
telemetry use of The Joyce Foundation Radio Telescope Array. A sizeable annual donation to The Sciences Division of The
Bureau of Land Management kept the bureaucrats fat and happy. Nothing was left to chance.
As for the physical act of time travel itself?
You simply step through from the present .... You emerge on your target date ....
July 16 2035.
Not July 17 2035 .... Again.
But she would still go topside for a quick peek at a stalled future that never changed anyway.

I've always wondered about things like that.... I guess going to the future is a bit "safer" for lack of a better word.. Going back to the past and changing one tiny thing could muck things up in an epic way for the present. And yeah, you want to make sure you don't wind up stepping through the portal and winding up in the middle of an erupting volcano or something...
Jen Jen is pretty foxy, though.. Maybe she'd like to stop by here next week - or tomorrow... Or last week... Nah make it tomorrow.. 😉
Really outstanding work as always, Zigster! I'm lovin' it!
I can't believe Dan (of all people) asked 'what could go wrong...'

Time travel doesn't come cheap, money expense or otherwise.
._O at Dan. Um, didn't Ranpha had you secured...?? I thought there was a moratorium on that phrase...
