Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

How did he keep his tail dry when the rest of him looks quite wet? That's what gets me to thinking. Keep up the good work. Nice to hear things went OK with the surgery. Keep up the good work! Woof! Woof! :-)

Glad to hear your sister's surgery went well. Nothing smells better than a wet dog.

You caught the essence of a dog playing, and all wet. You've always captured the essence of dogs, Marilyn, coming from your long history with them (and from loving them). The pic, full size, feels like a real water shot, just filled with those bright bleached hues of a shoreline in the sun. Wonderful shot. And Marilyn, thanks for your comments, you always bring very special and loving energy to my gallery, and it's always wonderful to bask in that. I appreciated every one, I truly do.
Also, I'm glad your sister is ok. The older we get, the more health issues loom, and I hope she came through her hip problems doing well. (It's also nice when you get to spend time with your sisters.)
