My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

Just think, if I had not been rereading that last sign, in that last art gallery, you wouldn't have been in a place to see this red umbrella among the black sedans. Timing is everything:-) Well done!

great capture right place right time cool shot T!!

There's something ominous about those black sedans - I think those two ladies with the umbrellas need to keep moving & get away before government agents in dark glasses jump out & whisk them away to an undisclosed location...

Pretty sure those caravans are an (almost) everyday occurrence in DC. Perfect shot, Tara!

Extremely sinister. I agree with Claude. What a marvellous photo!

Red umbrella as well as red back lights of the vehicles. Superb capture Tara. God bless.

So this is Bill's fault! Well make sure and give him an extra treat today because this is an outstanding photo. I somewhat agree with Claude but I think the women have emerged from one of those cars and are on a mission. Notice the middle car is different from the rest. That spot of red is brilliant. Their contacts are probably looking for a red umbrella to identify them.

OK, here's a shot that would put a smile on Helmut Newton's face... This is great, Tara! Jeeze.... I never knew the MIBs held parades! LOL

Helmut Newton (Rod) is a good reference: This really feels like a Vogue Magazine shot. The contrasts of those black cars with the black-clad people and that stark red umbrella is very minimalistic, very design-like, and very odd, fey, and strangely magical. You knew just when to shoot. And while those cars look very governmental, and sinister (Andrea and Claude), they make great design elements. Perfectly cropped. Bold and inventive, real "decisive moment" street work, Tara! Terrific piece. (I'm only doing a few per gallery, right now, as I'm only back for a night and part of a day ((thurs)), so I won't be able to do all I've missed right now. But I've seen everything, and I'll get to the rest soon, I promise.)
