This is huge: Please zoom (all the way)...
It's been a huge pleasure commenting again. I'll pick up a few galleries later today, but it's been such a pleasure.
And thanks so much for coming here, time after time. You don't know how much it means to me!
Inspiration to you all!

The first impression I have been looking at this beautiful image is that these people are going somewhere that no one knows or does not exist. Then remembering your recent image, I recall the path of attraction to heaven. So maybe these images have something in common? Certainly the thing that makes them similar is that the movement is moving away from us and toward something far away. Interesting work really !!

It's been a pleasure viewing your work and enjoying your comments, Mark. Great job on this meaningful image. "Like a drifter I was born to walk alone", a verse from a whitesnake song.

Lines, lines and more lines...each set (verticals, horizontals and gentle curves) attracts the eye and makes me gather in your entire composition. And even your walkers cooperate nicely in balancing the big bridge slice on the left with their movement on the right. Mighty fine.

Ditto to what Bill said about lines & how well this image is balanced - it has the feel of careful composition that was planned the way a traditional painting is planned. The other thing I get from this is the overwhelming brightness & intensity that all that white conveys - especially those curving horizontal lines on the left - I feel like I should put on sunglasses to shield my eyes from the glare...

This gives me that early morning exhaustion feeling..... very clever!

Gee, late again! The others seem to have stolen my thunder (again). Keep up the good work! :-)

You have man-made curves and then you have the natural curves - an interesting dichotomy that exists in life.

the lines and curves of man and what is man-made. balance and form and beauty. add in the light of the sun and you have managed to capture it all.

Well, Mark, you are welcome but you don't have to thank us for visiting. I think I can speak for most of us when I say we have no choice. Your work is irresistible. This is a strong composition with a P.O.V. that is downward facing. The curve of the bridge disappears below the border and gives a strong impression that the walkers are also headed down. This brings up a mystery, what is down there?

Yes!This is huge Mark. The way your captured this photo also make it look maybe bigger than it is I would be interested in seeing the surrounding.to get more perspective of this magnificent photo Cheers

Love the combination of the people and the building. It gives both a different place in the foto. And you threw in a tree, some lines and all kinds of other cool stuff!! But what I like the most is that you called this "Walker" and I see a person with many more legs and arms than most of us!!!

How can these people even move? I haven't even had my coffee yet!

I, too, noticed the lines. They soar and fly and seem to have a life of their own. The people anchor the shot perfectly, and bring us back to earth. A brilliant composition!

Absolutely stellar composition and balance here, Mark! I love the wonderful light in this shot, Mark! You have a natural ability to see a great photo in the every-day, my friend! Nice one!

Here I am - finally getting around to rummaging through your galleries [old & new] have been working lately 'flat out like a lizard drinking' [an OZ phrase, Oxford Dictionary] - Thank you Mark, for visiting mine, again and again ! [from 2013 !!! ... creaky floors and all - BTW I have left some drinks, instead of crackers...]
...after that little intro, it's business as usual! You know, when I spotted this photo with the long distance joggers [and without reading anybodies comment], my first thought was the famous Groucho Marx book-title: "Hello, I must be going" - if you are familiar with these words, then you get it, what I meant by it... if not ? erm... maybe borrow that book from a friend or library, only joking but I am 100% sure you are familiar with some of his quotes, some are hilarious to my way of thinking and some are deep and meaningful. Ditto what most said here, after my own thoughts...

It's a bit like magic when you look at all the lines (on zoom). The people look great from behind (LOL, beautiful legs),. The flowers on the left are like a magic guirlande, and I wonder if they smell. What strikes me here, as far as the point of seeing is, is, it seems that the two runners run right in the tops of the trees. In the Netherlands you have an expression that says: "You can enter the tree with your nonsense". If someone makes a strange proposal to someone. Thanks for the laugh about this very special photo, my friend.

It is an interesting contrast of hard lines and soft curves, man-made and mankind. And I like the perspective, as if they are walking off into another world.
goodoleboy
Most of the above, and love that delineated contrast of black, gray, mauve, and white.
