I first started with CG when I was in high school. In art class we could mess around with 3D Studio Max R2.5. None of the teachers knew anything about how to use the program, all we had was a tutorial book. Although I've always loved computers and 3D, back then I didn't realize a person could make a career out of it. I ended up pretty much dropping it until recently (about 12+ years later).
I studied computer science when I was in college, but at the time sitting in front of a computer for hours on end sounded unappealing. So I got back into what I grew up doing and worked in construction. Now after injuries, falling off roofs and meeting a guy who works in VFX, my passion for CG has been re-ignited. Which brings me to where I'm at today, dabbling with CG any chance I get and loving it!

Very very beautiful pose and expression of this lady, excellent use of light , shadow and light to create realistic effect of the scene !!

Thank you!!! I was trying to find the sweet spot between too dark and still having it look like the sun was starting to fall behind the hills, which always seems to be a challenge for me.

A little dark, but still gorgeous!

Thanks!!!
I was trying to go for a "sun going down feel," but one day I'll feel like it has a nice brightness to it, the next I feel like it's too dark and then the cycle restarts and continues lol. Maybe someday I'll get the balance figured out...

Nice suit and pose. I hope she is not too uncomfortable wearing that and sitting on a tree trunk ;).
