Description
Buses and Cattle Cars!
Here we have the two types of buses in town. The green cattle car is a local town bus. Notice it has only 1 wheel on each side up front and double in the rear since the motor is in the back. The large hump on its back is the fuel tank for natural gas. There are 10 bus lines in town, with about 12 minutes between runs. All lines meet at a central bus square in the center of town. Makes changing lines easy.
The yellow cattle car is MINE! I take it to work and home every day. And itβs packed with cattle / kids going to different schools in the morning. Standing room only until the last stop in town. THEN I get a seat! Notice the double set of wheels in the rear. The motor is also in the rear. On the roof are two tanks for natural gas. And, the driver is smiling. Why? I always say βHi!β when I get on and wish them a good day when I get off. Few Swedes do, so Iβm recognized by many of the drivers. One is from New York, another from Bosnia, another from Slovakia, and, oh, some from Sweden, too!

Good idea for the extra back door :) GREAT SHOTS clic here to see Montreal Green 100% Electric Buses

They must have very long electric cables or very big batteries. There have been discussions about electric buses here, too, but they would be better off with 2 overhead wires/cables. More cost effective. Thanks for the link! Those buses look very nice.

Nice views of these modern buses. I approve of the natural gas power!

Are those opaque drapes in the windows, or what?
T.Rex
Those are reflections of a fence in the buses windows.
