Amazon.. Mr. Missy (unseen): Wow! Ashinay looks great!.. Mattie the Mouse (unseen): I could feel in love..even she has no tail.. Millie the Mouse (unseen): A pair of leggs and you go bananas? Ashinay is a great representitive for females, beauty and strength.. Mattie: If you say so, sis.. Millie: Let's see Rhana's notes.." Fiddling around with my runtime with Ashinay as protagonist this render arose. The pose is from a classic amazon statue probably one among four created for the Artemis Temple in Ephessos, present day Tukey. Anecdotes say it was a competion between four (or five) great greek artists. Probably not true because the artists lived not excatly the same time all four. At least three statue types have been copied several times in classic greek and roman times. This amazon type statue should originally been done by either Polykleitos or Kresilias. Concerning the women warriors, the amazons, burials of women are found north of The Black Sea, in graves with armor and weapons and horses, too, in some cases.
