...and far right, the Presidio. Nice shot of the suspension system in detail. The construction gives the bridge elasticity in the wind. The sun haze makes for an ethereal view of the down town area. Nice contrast to the hard suspension structures. Keep up the good work! :-)

I found it a little hard to look at this picture and leave a comment as it was the last bridge my brother crossed while on exercise with the Para Reg before he died......But I find it a comfort to see the view he must have seen and I can fully understand why he loved it there so thank you my friend for the memories of my dear beloved brother and such a beautiful picture :)

Yes! Fascinating composition. Think of the number of coats of paint on those cables since 1936. My home used to be among the trees, just to the right of your field of view, on the Presidio.
