Description
Behind me, in the thumb nail, is the Klosterkyrkan, from 1166, as seen in a traffic mirror at a curve beside me. In front of me are the railroad tracks leading to the station to the left outside the photo. And just to the right, below me, is this beautiful flower arrangement. My hat's off to the people in charge of flowers and gardening in this town. They do a fantastic job!
The street is the west main thoroughfare into town. It's very steep here in order to allow buses and large vehicles to pass under the railroad overpass.
Somewhere I have the photos I took after the midnight in 1983 when the old iron trestle bridge was replaced by this concrete bridge. The construction company bought a couple of sets of my photos, despite night exposure problems!
Now, ENJOY the flowers!
